Wondering what to write on your college application essay? Debbie Merion from can help! Learn what admissions officers are looking for, how to find your best topic, how to bring out your unique writing voice, engaging ways to emphasize your strengths without bragging, and how parents can help.

Discuss and take home helpful handouts and samples of winning essays. If you have essay drafts (totally optional), bring them for feedback from the instructor.

Expect to leave class energized, with a jumpstart on writing your best college essay. Parents and students of any age are welcome.
